This Is The Day You Have Been Waiting For!

Here is how we will begin.....

If you are interested in meeting with me, you can contact me by email or phone to make arrangements for our First Meeting. Please include date and time of your wedding so I can make sure that I am available on that day.

First Meeting

At this complimentary meeting, which lasts about an hour or so, we can get to know each other better and talk about your desired ceremony. If a connection is made and at this time, you specifically ask me to perform your wedding, I will reserve your wedding date. My intention thereafter is to create a process that EASILY allows you to come up with the wedding of YOUR choice. I will then create a selection of prayers, readings, vows, music, and components for your wedding. You will have an array of choices, so that you can select the parts you are called to, and edit out the parts you do not feel drawn to. This can be done at a Second Meeting. It is that simple! I will also make myself available to you either by phone or email at all times in between in creating a ceremony that is just right for you!

Once selections are made, I will then put it all together and send you a final copy. After the ceremony, you get to keep the same copy used during the ceremony, as a keepsake.

Confirm Your Date

Unless you specifically asked for my services at our First Meeting, you will not have a confirmed date. In order for me to hold your wedding date, be sure to call me back in a couple of days after our First Meeting. A $100 deposit will be required at that time. If you have decided to make other arrangements, it would be appreciated if you would kindly let me know that.

We will be in touch a few weeks prior to your wedding. At that time, kindly mail, fax, or email your selections for the wedding ceremony back to me. I will then put your selections on computer, creating both a large type version for use at the ceremony and to give to you afterwards as a keepsake, as well as a small two page folded flyer “master” that you will be given at your second meeting to be printed up, if you wish, as a program for your wedding guests. You should remember to select family or friends to do the readings. Far better that your friends and family do these readings so they may also partake in this blessed event. Try to get people who are at least moderately good at public reading; readers who mumble and cannot be understood detract from your wedding ceremony.

Second Meeting (optional and included)

A couple of weeks prior to your wedding, we can set up a second appointment of about 30 minutes or so. If you have acquired a marriage license, this would be a good time to leave the license with me if you have it. If not, be sure to bring it to the wedding! We will fill it out after the ceremony. I will be responsible for mailing the signed version back to the court for recordation, if that is the practice in your state. At this meeting we will all go over the logistics of your ceremony and make any last minute changes so there is a level of comfortability moving forward. You might also want to use this time to pay the balance of fees at this meeting, if you think it might be a distraction on your wedding day.

Travel

Included in your "Ceremony" or "Rehearsal" is a location within a 20 mile radius of the New York area. Should the location of your ceremony or rehearsal be outside this area, we will discuss any additional travel expenses at the time of your initial consultation.

Rehearsal (Optional)

This optional service includes a 1 to 2 hour rehearsal time prior to your ceremony. This will help ensure your ceremony will be flawless and your concerns alleviated. My attendance at your rehearsal is dependant upon location and date (as I may have another wedding scheduled on that day). I prefer to attend rehearsals as it brings about more of a comfort level for everyone.

Day Of The Wedding

I will usually arrive at the wedding site approximately one hour before the ceremony, so that should a quick run-through be necessary, I will be on hand. Also, at that time, I would like to meet with the readers, father of the bride, best man, and any others who need last minute reminders of the few cues they each will have. If you did not leave the license with me earlier, be sure to bring it with you to the wedding. Unless specifically asked to attend the cocktail hour or reception after the wedding, I will then leave.
